ROOT CHAKRA MEDITATIONS

"The Base Chakra (Muladhara) is the pioneer, always willing to go where no one has gone before and to do things that have never been done. Without the grounding influence of the base chakra our system would be constantly upset by changing energy tides around us."
(sue and simon lilly)

Today as I focus on Root Chakra I am looking at life from the perspective of a tree. We begin as roots before we ever truely blossom as a seed. You see the seedling only long after the roots have begun. Root Chakra teaches us to be grounded first and thus we ENJOY LIFE...It also teaches you to be a part of this physical world. Today walk barefoot, jump up and down, play a drum, dance to music, love life, buy yourself RED ROSES, enjoy a piece of chocolate and glass of red wine! Treat yourself like the divine being you are! Renew your passion for life! If you would like to pray to ARCH ANGEL SAMMAEL he will help you! The colour associated with this Archangel is red. The words associated with this Archangel are victory, stamina, courage, leadership and passion. Sammael gives courage and stamina to overcome adversity and liberate the soul. He rules over battlefields and represents the warrior, guiding ambition, drive and passion, as well as the pursuit of love and romance. For those that are Catholic (like myself) Pray to Saint Therese of Lisieux, for guidnace. She is allso known as little flower. She has a very traumatic and short lived life, yet left joy and love everywhere she went. Her symbol is the red rose, wherever she felt needed beauty and miracles she left red rose petals she said " Love proves itself by deeds, so how am I to show my love?...The only way I can prove my love is by scattering flowers and these flowers are every little sacrifice, every glance and word, and the doing of the least actions for love."  (for more info on her http://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=105)

Revision:  Last Night St. Therese explained to me that while she was grounded in her Christian faith her strength of power was not her root but her heart. Saint Joseph came in clear and strong to me last night. Of course Saint Joseph, the Father of Jesus should be our Root Energy focus. This grounded saint and father of Christianity is a wonderful source of wisdom and power. Much is not known about this man except for his "adpotion" of Jesus and Marraige to Mary. But when you look at the story of Jesus (what we know) from his perspective you must see how strong and wise this man was. He was logical and loving. He was from a royal lineage but worked simply with his hands and heart. He was above all compassionate. He is the only man to be called RIGHTEOUS in the entire bible. That says something. Look to him for guidance in being in the moment, not getting too hot headed and upset before you pause to consider and relfect on all aspects of a situation and to have empathy towards others and to be rooted in the love of family at all times. http://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=4
